Delete your account
For the Adullam mobile app · Updated 28 July 2026
You can ask us to delete your Adullam account at any time. This page explains how, what gets removed, and what the seminary is obliged to keep.
How to request it
In the app: Settings → Account → Request account deletion.
Or by email, from the address your account uses:
- Send the request from the email address on your account, so we know it is you.
- The Registrar confirms your identity against the student register.
- We act within 30 days and email you when it is done.
Why a request and not a button. Your academic record is an institutional
document. A self-service wipe would let an account be destroyed in a moment that the seminary
still needs to issue your transcript from years later, and would let anyone who briefly
had your unlocked phone do it. The Registrar checks first.
What is deleted
- Your sign-in credentials, and your ability to open the app.
- Your profile, name, phone number and contact details.
- Your uploaded payment proof images.
- Your membership of class rooms.
- Prayer requests and questions you submitted.
- Any linked Google or Apple sign-in.
- Your analytics and crash-report identifier.
What is kept, and why
| Kept | Why | How long |
|---|---|---|
| Academic record, enrolments, results, transcripts, attendance | The seminary’s institutional record, and the basis of any transcript or certificate we issue you in future | Permanently |
| Financial records, fees charged, payments verified | Accounting and audit obligations | As required by law |
| Your email address, as a used-once record | One registration per person, permanently, see below | Permanently |
| Messages you posted in a class room | They are part of a conversation others took part in; your name is removed from them | While the class room exists |
Deleting your account does not release your email address.
The seminary allows one registration per person, ever. After deletion your address stays on
record as already used, and cannot be registered again, not by you, and not by
anyone else. If you are later re-admitted, contact the Registrar: your existing record
is restored rather than a new account created.
Please be sure before you ask.
Please be sure before you ask.
If you only want to stop analytics
You do not need to delete your account. Open Settings → Privacy in the app and switch analytics off. Collection stops immediately, and everything else keeps working.
